Balance Gym Thomas Circle

Balance Gym Thomas Circle, located at 1111 14th Street, NW in downtown Washington, DC is the area's most unique and energetic gym providing the most comprehensive approach to fitness. This location provides exceptional health club offerings such as free weights, cardiovascular machines, machine-weights, a diverse group exercise program, and specialized premium programs such as CrossFit, Budokon, yoga, boxing, tango, and pole dancing.

The Facility
The Thomas Circle facility spans two buildings – the Training Studio at 1111 14th Street NW and the Main Gym at 1339 Green Court NW (just behind the Training Studio).

The Training Studio
The Training Studio is a 2,700-SF functional/athletic training facility used for private training and our comprehensive CrossFit Balance program – both available to people of all ages and fitness levels. At the Training Studio, we offer open space and functional toys ranging from Olympic lifting platforms, bumper plates, rowing machines, tires, and a custom built bodyweight training grid that consists of 30 ft. pull-up bars and a “Ninja Warrior” style body weight course.

The Main Gym
The Main Gym, located in a 4-story building behind the Training Studio, offers 22,000 SF of training space, including 4 studios, 2 large locker rooms with steam rooms, 50+ cardiovascular machines, and strength equipment. The Main Gym is divided into four distinct levels, each with a different focus:

The 1st floor training level has a complete line of Hammer Strength equipment, free weights, a boxing ring with heavy bags, an Olympic platform, and all the fun functional toys that Balance Gym is known for (med balls, plyo boxes, kettlebells, sandbags, etc). No matter what you are into, the first floor has the space and equipment to meet your training needs.

The 2nd level has the latest health club offerings with over 50 pieces of cardio equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, steppers, and a complete line of FreeMotion strength training equipment (coming soon!).

The 3rd level has three separate studios – Studio 1, which is used for many of our group exercise classes including Abs, Body Pump, Zumba, Balance Sports Conditioning BootCamp, and Wanda Woman Dance; the Pole Pressure Studio, which is used for pole dancing classes and other exciting classes; and the Spinning Studio.

The 4th floor houses the newly finished MindBody studio – a 1,500-SF space with bamboo flooring and lots of natural light – perfect for Yoga and Budokon!
